It’s been a busy month at Elite Netball Academy. We’ve welcomed Superleague players to our netball classes and Christmas netball camps, hosted play days, launched a new week for our Residential Netball Camp in the summer and announced a new U12 Junior Academy netball class in Manchester.

Superleague players at our High-Performance Centre netball class
Nat Metcalf, Nat Panagarry and Paige Reed joined us at our High-Performance Centre netball class. Nat Metcalf held a technical session on through court attack which all the girls loved. We’re looking forward to working with these Superleague stars more in 2023.
Christmas netball camps a great success
Our Christmas netball camps in Manchester and Yorkshire were a great success with over 65 athletes joining us across the two days. It was lovely to see so many players from our weekly netball classes there along with some new faces who we hope to see again in 2023.
Nat Metcalf joined us at our Yorkshire Performance netball camp on Wednesday and Nat Panagarry held a great session at our Manchester camp on Thursday.

New week added for Residential Netball Camp
Due to overwhelming demand, we have decided to run another week of Residential Netball Camp at Queen Ethelburga’s College in York. This additional week of residential netball camp will run from Monday 31st July to Thursday 3rd August 2023 – booking is now open and places are selling out fast!
New U12 Junior Academy netball class
We’re delighted to announce that from January 2023, we will have a U12 Junior Academy in Manchester. Demand has been high for a Junior Academy in the North West since we started our High-Performance Centre netball class there in October.
Led by Elite Netball Academy, our Junior Netball Academy will supplement your club/school training by having a programme that focuses on four pillars to help you get the most out of your club/school matches: physical, performance, tactical and psychological. These classes will follow the same successful and established U12 programme in Yorkshire created by former Superleague coach Anna Carter.

Our weekly, term-time, programme includes two hours of technical netball coaching and strength and conditioning coaching. Regular individual feedback is provided throughout the year and there will be opportunities for players to network with our U12 Junior Netball Academy in Leeds.
Entry to our Junior Academy netball classes is via a trial process, to attend trials, please head this way.
Netball Play Days
We had a successful day hosting our netball Play Day. It was great to see such a high standard from everyone and it was brilliant to bring together athletes from our Manchester, Leeds and Lancashire academies. Thank you to everyone who got involved, we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!
