Mini Netball classes are a fun and educational way to introduce your child to netball. Our young netballers enjoy learning new skills, taking part in mini-games, and have fun forming new friendships.


We have weekly, hour-long classes that run during term time for children of all ages and abilities.

Our netball coaches have a wealth of experience and a shared passion for the sport ensuring your child is supported in a positive and enthusiastic environment. Each Mini Netball class is run by two coaches and the aims of every class is to make sure your child has learned something new, had fun and formed new friendships.

Our Minis classes for the 2021/2022 season are:

Saturdays – Gateways School, Leeds

Session 1: 9 – 10 am for school years 2 – 3

Session 2: 10 – 11 am for school years 4 – 5

Session 3: 11 – 12 for school year 6

Minis cost is £40 a month and is paid by Direct Debit.

Target group: 5 – 10 years old

Players are split into age groups to maximise engagement and we welcome netball players of all abilities and experience from complete beginners to those who want extra netball to sit alongside their child’s school and club training.

Performance Pillars for Mini Netballers:

Fundamentals such as footwork, passing and catching. Revisited often but introduced in different practices to keep them engaged.Basics of attack and defence principles. Recognise the rules and apply them. Learning the positions on the court with their roles and responsibilities.Big focus on building a variety of movement skills and fitness. Can be disguised through warm-up games or team games at the end of the session.Create a fun and engaging environment that builds confidence in the players.
Build teamwork and cooperation skills.
