What age did you start training with Elite?
I started training with Elite when I was 13 years old.
Why did you start training with Elite?
Some of my teammates were in the Academy programme and I started to see their game improve. I wanted to improve and see how far I could go with netball. After joining the Academy, all aspects of my game improved in a short space of time – I became a more confident and competitive player.
What were your favourite sessions at Elite?
There were many great sessions, so it is hard to pick one! Sessions with experienced players such as Nat Metcalf and Nat Panagarry were both memorable, alongside 1-2-1 sessions with Anna Carter, which I found very beneficial.

Tell us about your netball now and how Elite helped you on this path:
Currently, I play for the LANC U16 squad. I am also part of the Thunder U15 long squad for the school games. Last year, I went to nationals with the LANC U14 squad and we won the competition – I came away being named MVP! My time at Elite and their high-level training, has played a very big part in my development as a player, and the majority of my achievements are down to Elite Netball Academy.
What would you say to anyone thinking about joining Elite?
Join, the sooner the better. They run an inclusive programme and will help you to improve and reach your potential with netball.
