New netball partnership!
We are excited to announce a partnership with Leeds Athletic Netball Club (LANC) to support their journey in Performance netball.
Joining forces with Yorkshire club LANC is another significant partnership for Elite Netball Academy. Elite founder Anna Carter and a number of the Elite coaches have been involved with and played for Leeds Athletic in recent years.
“As Head Coach at LANC, I’ve seen first-hand how hard the club’s athletes and coaches work to be successful”, comments Anna. “LANC are a performance netball club with huge ambitions. A lot of the Elite Netball Academy coaching team are heavily involved in the club too.”
Through the partnership, Elite aims to provide coaching sessions, feedback, resources and create growth plans for players and coaches to gain knowledge and a deeper understanding of the sport.
“We will also be on hand to mentor and support personal journeys within the sport for players and coaches. LANC coaches and players will receive help in person and through our online netball training centre, launched earlier this month. It’s an exciting time.
The Elite-led sessions will supplement LANC’s training programme. We aim to support athletes so they can focus on achieving their goals within the sport while developing four key competencies – technical, tactical, physical and psychological.”
Penny Allen, LANC Chair, joins Anna in feeling excited about the new partnership.

LANC is committed to helping athletes fulfil their potential on and off the court, and for years, to help our athletes improve, we have encouraged them to seek additional training opportunities on top of club training. Elite is the best in the business, and its track record of helping athletes get onto franchises and pathway programmes is second to none.
Through this partnership, we look to strengthen those values and commitments. It means we can offer additional, outstanding training opportunities to LANC athletes, plus support and mentoring for our coaching team.”

Founded in 1970, LANC is a performance netball club based in Yorkshire. LANC athletes are coached by an experienced and dedicated team led by Head Coach, Anna Carter.
LANC have high expectations of their ambitious and hard-working athletes, and currently, the club has members on the England Pathway, franchise and county pathways. The club also encourage athletes to learn to umpire and coach, both valuable and sought-after skills.
