During this unusual time for all of us, everyone has a part of play in maintaining a healthy, safe environment for netball.
Just as ENA adheres to the guidance provided by England Netball, we expect our community of players and parents to follow our own guidelines to keep everyone fit and ensure activity can stay up and running.
We are currently at Stage 4a of the England Netball Roadmap. Any updates to our position will be updated to this page.

Yes, Yorkshire – Elite Netball Academy camps are back again this October half-term break!
We’re thrilled to bits to be offering not one but TWO camps these coming school holidays. Hot on the heels of an extremely-successful eight weeks of summer camps, our ever-popular Fun Camp returns for five days of activities, games, skills, and mini-matches across the week of October 26-30. And… not only that but across the same five days, we’re rolling out another very popular event which sells out year on year, our fabulous Boot Camp!
Fun Camp is ideal for players aged 5 to 12 years and suits beginners or regular players, with classes broken into groups based on ability. So, whether you play netball every week at school or have never before picked up a netball, you’ll find our camps full of activities to fill your holidays with FUN! Pay £35 a day or book for the week and pay a reduced rate of £150! Camp runs at Woodhouse Grove School, from 9am to 4pm daily.
Boot Camp for ages 10 and above is another level completely, pitched at the serious netballer only who wants to push themselves to another level! Across five days, you’ll learn many new netball skills and techniques to drive your game forward, as well as receiving a whole host of education on injury prevention, nutrition and wellbeing, and enjoying activities like a barre workout and yoga! Each day includes different content, which is why we open this camp up to 5-day bookings only. Running daily from 9am to 5pm at Woodhouse Grove School, camp costs just £295 for the week.
Bookings are now open for both camps. Don’t miss out – enquire today here!
What a summer we’ve had at our Elite Netball Academy camps!
It seems a lifetime ago since our Fun Camps for 5-12-year-olds kicked-off our summer camp season back in early July. Back then, with the UK fresh out of lockdown and still very much in the grips of Covid-19, we had no idea how popular our camps would prove this summer. Yet the fact young people had been kept in isolation between March and May, and most types of sporting provision not being permitted until June, saw that everyone was itching to be back running around with their friends again – albeit from a distance!
Initially, it was unclear where we would hold our camps with many of our regular facility providers closed to third parties such as ENA. The Goals facility in Leeds welcomed us in with open arms and virtual hugs, quickly proving a winner in its offering both athletes and coaches a safe, open-air space in which to train and having the ability to scale up or down based on our attendance levels. We were equally as happy our long-standing partner, Woodhouse Grove School, was able to facilitate our 4-day Boot Camp – which was, once again, a sell-out event.
Our Fun Camp ran for 8 weeks in total, while our Performance Camp, for players aged 13 to 16 years, was planned initially for a 2-week period and later, thanks to increased demand and reduced Covid restrictions, extended to 4 weeks. For the most, our camps were at capacity in terms of the permitted numbers, which ran in sync with England Netball’s suggested coach to player ratios. Whatever the age group, from our 5-year-old beginners to our most experienced performance netballers, it was clear our young folk were extremely happy to be back on a court or pitch, training, playing games, and socialising with familiar-minded friends and coaches. To top it off, just before our final two weeks came the good news from England Netball that we could engage in an adapted version of matchplay – which was much to the delight of everyone attending, and a fabulous way to finish an incredibly successful summer season.
Next up is October half-term Fun Camp and Performance Camps, both at Goals in Leeds between October 26-30. To reserve your child’s place today, visit our website Bookings page.
